A no-show costs a technician, a truck and a time slot.
Automated reminders reduce no-shows, confirm scheduling and keep the calendar honest. The customer knows when you're coming. You know they're expecting you. No one wastes a drive across town to an empty house — and no one chases confirmations by hand.
The most expensive part of a service business is the truck.
A technician's time, fuel and routing are the real cost — not the software. A reminder that prevents one wasted trip pays for itself for a year.
Manual reminders work until they don't. Someone forgets. The office is busy. The text doesn't go out. The customer forgets. The technician arrives to a locked door. Automated reminders remove the human dependency from a task that should never depend on a human — and free your team to do the work only humans can do.
Confirmation, upcoming, follow-up, recovery.
Booking confirmation
Sent immediately after an appointment is booked. Confirms the date, time window and what to expect. Replaces the 'did they get my message?' phone call.
Upcoming reminder
Sent 24–48 hours before the appointment. The customer replies to confirm, reschedule or cancel — before a technician drives across town to an empty house.
Follow-up after service
Sent after the job is complete. Asks for a review, offers a next step or confirms satisfaction. The enquiry that became a job becomes a relationship.
Reschedule and no-show recovery
If a customer cancels or no-shows, the system flags it and creates a follow-up task — so the slot gets filled or the job gets rescheduled, not forgotten.
Triggers, templates and honest language.
Each reminder fires on an agreed trigger — booking, 24 hours before, day-of, post-service. The template is drafted in your voice and approved before it goes live. It confirms the time window honestly: 'Your technician will arrive between 9 and 11 AM,' not 'Your technician will arrive at 9 AM sharp.' Reschedule links work when the calendar is configured. Replies route to the office.
SMS delivery depends on A2P 10DLC registration and carrier verification. Email depends on domain authentication and provider setup. We configure both and state the usage costs before activation — without markup.
Up to three automations in the standard build.
The standard package includes up to three reminder automations — typically booking confirmation, upcoming reminder and post-service follow-up. A connected calendar, the CRM pipeline and the intake form are part of the same system. More complex scheduling logic — multi-technician routing, capacity-based booking windows, recurring service plans — is scoped separately.
Questions about appointment reminders.
Do reminders go out by text or email?
Both, when configured. SMS has higher open rates for time-sensitive reminders; email works for confirmations and follow-up. We configure what fits your customers and the provider supports — and tell you the usage costs upfront.
Can customers reschedule from the reminder?
Yes, when the calendar is configured with a reschedule link. The system can also flag a cancellation for staff follow-up so the slot doesn't disappear.
Does it work with my existing scheduling tool?
The standard build uses the connected platform's calendar. If you need sync with a separate scheduling tool, we assess whether a connection is feasible and quote it separately.
What does it cost on top of the platform?
The automation is part of the standard CRM build. SMS usage, A2P registration and carrier fees are billed by the provider. We configure the connectors and state every cost before activation.
